Summer is the ideal season to engage in enjoyable and healthy activities. This is the reason I’m here with some ideas on how to enjoy a healthy and happy summer of this year

Winter, is he? Oops! I’m talking about how summer has arrived! The summer season is the perfect opportunity to take on all of your desires. It’s the time for relaxation for kids in school as well as the time of adventure for adults and the time for warmth for those who are older. The summer months are the perfect opportunity to engage in enjoyable as well as healthy pursuits. That’s why I’m here to offer some suggestions on how you can be healthy and happy this season:

1) Hydration Is The Key

As we all know, summer will force us to drink a lot of water. But wait! This isn’t enough! According to a study from recent times, the average person weighing 60 kg (kilograms) must consume 3 liters of water. That’s 1 liter per 20 kilograms we weigh. Therefore, even if you consume, for instance, 3 liters of water, the summer weather will cause more fluid to be absorbed by our bodies. It is better to keep track of your intake of the water that you consume to ensure that your body is getting sufficient amounts of water. Also, you can eat foods such as watermelon, oranges, cucumber, coconut water, or pineapple that help hydrate our bodies.

2) Skin Protection

Is it me, or do we all dislike summer afternoons? Most likely, the only thing we dislike about summer days is the excessive sun. But there’s an answer! *Please roll the drum with sunscreen! Yes. Sunscreens can greatly shield us from UV radiation that is dangerous to our body. Apply an SPF-rich sunscreen (more than 50 SPF) every two hours while you’re having fun. Additionally, make sure you wear glasses and hats to shield your eyes and decrease the risk of getting sunburn. A good tip is to rise early in the summer to take advantage of the best portion of the sun’s rays that are shining between 6 am and 10 am.

3) Eat Fresh Foods

In the present day, we live in a world where people are consumed by junk food. What started out as “comfort food” has become an addiction. However, whatever the cause, we should now get an opportunity to start the healthy lifestyle we had this summer. Strawberries, for instance, are packed with fiber and antioxidants. Watermelon is abundant with Vitamin A & C. Cucumbers contain a high amount of water, and green beans and tomatoes have Vitamin K & C. Here’s a list of nutritious foods you can incorporate into your diet of this season:

4) Indulge In Physical Activities

Once you’ve decided the best foods and drinks to apply and put on, you can begin to look into the things that you can take part in during the summer. Did you know that swimming for 30 minutes is a great way to burn 300 calories? This low-impact exercise is a great option to enjoy to beat the heat and keep fit. It is a great activity that focuses on weight loss as well as bone health. Activities like cycling, kayaking, surfing, or other sporting activities outdoors such as cricket, Football and basketball are enjoyable and healthy. If you are able to keep your phone and video games off the table, there are many ways to get fit.

5) Mindfulness

The summer months are the ideal time to enjoy fresh fruit and fitness-related activities, but they’re also a time for relaxation. Engaging in practices such as yoga, meditation, and Tai chi can benefit your general well-being since it has been demonstrated to lower stress levels and increase self-awareness among people. You could also go for a walk with loved ones to relax in a tranquil setting. If these activities are planned for the daytime, stargazing with your loved ones at night is an enjoyable and relaxing pastime. These activities will aid in regenerating your body and help you feel grateful for the sunny season, which is a joy on the faces of people.
